Coherence Attunement with 3 Horses | Part 1

In this video, Timber, Hughes, and Merlot experience singing bowls for the first time.  They did amazing.

The handlers were instructed to restrain the horses minimally, and let them have a level of freedom.  We were watching for typical signs of down regulation, including, a softening and blinking of the eye; lowering of the head; quivering of the lower lip; licking and chewing; a relaxed stance; and overall calmness, and ventral vagal state.

Each horse demonstrated at least a few of the predicted signs of down regulation.

Timber's Attunement | Part 2

Timber had had his teeth floated and sheath cleaned the day before.  He was checked for systemic and segmental incoherence prior to the bowl session, and incoherence was found throughout.

After 14 minutes, or so, with the bowls, much of his incoherence disappeared. He was very serene for his attunement.

Merlot's Attunement | Part 2

Merlot is a great little mare.  She really down regulated with the bowls, and was a perfect angel for the second part of her attunement.

Hughes' Attunement | Part 2

Hughes is a sweet horse, but I believe he is a retired race horse, and always pretty vigilant.  He usually doesn't like to be touched, and he certainly doesn't like new things or noises.  He was originally very intimidated by the I.N.TERFACE, but then Mary Jo recommended I let him smell it.  Boy did that make a difference!
