The Four inputs

Coherent Sound

Coherent sound is delivered through precisely tuned crystal singing bowls that produce stable, harmonic tones. These tones interact with the body’s natural rhythms and help create an environment in which the nervous system can settle, organize, and respond more efficiently to stress. In Coherence-Centered Care, sound is not used as entertainment, but as a source of rhythmic information that supports the body’s innate ability to return toward order, balance, and coherence. Periods of sound are intentionally followed by silence, allowing the body time to reorganize and integrate the experience.

Coherent Vibration

Coherent vibration is applied using weighted tuning forks that deliver gentle, measurable mechanical oscillations to specific areas of the body. These vibrations interact with the fascial and neuromuscular systems, providing a clear mechanical signal that can help the body recognize areas of tension or imbalance. In our work, vibration serves as a precise and consistent input that supports communication within the body’s structural and neurological networks, helping to restore tone, rhythm, and coordinated function.

Gentile Impulse

Gentle impulse is delivered using a carefully controlled spring-loaded instrument that provides a brief, specific mechanical input to the body. This impulse is not designed to force movement, but to provide a momentary stimulus that the body can interpret and respond to. The purpose of this input is to assist the body in releasing areas of restriction and improving communication within the nervous system and supporting structures. When applied with precision and intention, gentle impulse can help initiate a shift toward improved organization and adaptability.

Light Contact

Light contact involves the use of the practitioner’s hands—and, when appropriate, a non-therapeutic, low-level, coherent light source*—to provide a calm, steady point of contact with the body. This gentle input creates a sense of stability and safety for the nervous system, allowing the body to relax and reorganize without force. Coherent light may also be applied along specific anatomical regions to provide consistent energetic input that supports the body’s natural processes of regulation and adaptation. The emphasis is always on lightness, precision, and respect for the body’s innate intelligence.
